ABOUT ME

Gawrsh, I dunno.

I'm a lot of things. Sometimes I wish I belonged to a particular scene, just so that when people asked me to describe myself I could just answer "Oh, I'm a hippie" or "Oh, I'm a punk" or "Oh, I'm a Republican." Then we could immediately move to talking about kombucha or anarchy or how much we hate women and gays (just kidding). Labels must make personal introductions so much easier.

So without the aid of labels, let's just say that I'm a human(?) female who loves traveling, esoteric movies, all sorts of music, really bizarre foods, and just generally saying "yes" to all of life's wonderful weirdness.

But I'm also a recovering introvert, so you'll have to forgive me if I occasionally slip. :)

Most of the time I'm in Berkeley, but I'd love for you to visit while I'm in L.A. -- I'm something of a self-proclaimed cultural ambassador for our much misunderstood city, although there's still a lot to this place that I've yet to explore.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friend had these two wonderful German boys over at his place, and we all had such a wonderful time! It was R-rated only for language and alcohol use.

Spotted a dog from the top of a pyramid in Teohuacan.

That dog must've been 1000 miles away.

I've also eaten armadillo, corn smut, blood sausages, and chicken anuses. No, not all at the same time, and no, I won't force you to eat them. :P
