ABOUT ME

Although I am a libra, never able to make decisions easily, I have made some major decisions in the past few years. I got married, had a baby and bought a restaurant in Guatemala with my husband. Figured if I don't do this I will always wonder 'what if...'. When the crisis hit Guatemala I was fortunate enough to sell the place on time and because of my son's education we have decided to move back to Europe...

PHILOSOPHY

I believe life is what you make of it! We often spend too much time looking back, wishing we had done things differently. Be happy with what you DO have instead of thinking about what you're missing.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am interested in meeting people and showing them around. So definately available for a drink and a chat! Depending on the weekend we also offer our couch (which is indeed a couch and not a bed!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No surfing experience yet although my husband has surfed some couches and we have hosted plenty of surfers in Panajachel Guatemala!

Intereses

Traveling, photography, having coffee with friends, reading, dancing salsa and bachata, spending time with my family, BBQ, good food and good music!

Algo increíble que he hecho

I once witnessed two manatees making love in front of the coast of Caye Caulker, Belice...it's already a small miracle to see one during your snorkling tour, let alone two at the same time...it was as if it was taken out of a BBC documentary.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I love baking! Hoping to get some really good new baking recipes, if you have one please share it with me! I can help you out with your Spanish, practising your conversation skills, if you are interested in salsa, my husband can teach you some steps...
