ABOUT ME

Hey there!

How nice of you to drop by! =)

Here’s a few facts about me:

I grew up on the countryside in a village with 5 households. We had hens, a dog and sometimes a cat (and lots of wild animals in the garden). So I like nature and animals! I have a collector gene and when it’s berry or mushroom season (food mushrooms =P) I try to get out into the woods. But after starting the University I’ve grown to become more of a city girl.

I draw a lot and after high school I took portrait drawing commissions. But after starting the university there’s just not enough time for the art! Hoping there will be in the future though.

I guess I’m a bit of a science nerd, considering my programme and all the physics, maths and computer science courses it involves.

I like the visual, like photos, paintings, sketches, faces, reality. I find details, not the bigger picture, most interesting and beautiful.

I would love to learn how to play an instrument really well some day. I’ve tried piano and guitar, but never for very long. For now I guess I have to settle for listening to others play, which is not really settling since I really enjoy listening to a good musician! One of the best things I know is listening to the sound of a single guitar in the evening and perhaps someone singing along.

I love house parties and going out clubbing! I always end up doing shots in the kitchen or bar.. But I also enjoy dinner parties, and I love to cook. Not so much to eat though..

I’m always smiling and helpful.

That’s a bit about me. If you want my entire life story you have to take me out for a cup of coffee (and half a bottle of vodka for the dirty details =P )

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I cannot participate with a couch, since I myself don’t really have a place to stay at the moment. I can participate with myself though, for a coffee or drink, in Uppsala, Västerås or Stockholm.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went to Mallorca with two friends (and couch surfers) for 8 days. We stayed with this lovely botanist bohemian czeck couple for two nights. Otherwise I’ve been to a few coffee nights with the Uppsala group. And played volleyball with the Västerås group.

Interests

Drawing, painting, thai boxing, engineering, meeting new people, meeting old people =P and lots more that are harder to pinpoint!
