ABOUT ME

Well, I am someone who likes to meet people, discover their culture and learn abot them and what they do.
I only recently created my account so I am new to all this, but a lot of my friends told me about this website so i would like to discover the couchsurfing experience!
I am interested in arts especially but I take interest in almost everything.
I am trained as an English teacher but am trying to become a conference interpreter.

PHILOSOPHY

Love of life and an open mind, each one teach one, give without asking for anything in return and basically looking after the people around me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am calm and polite but I do like to go crazy and party every now and then!
I dont mind helping with cleaning and washing up and can be flexible to suit my hosts needs.
I can cook, sing, play a bit of music and have a conversation about almost anything!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far, met some friends of friends encountered via couchsurfing.
Seems fun!

Interests

Arts, music especially, different cultures, going out, appreciating different philosophies of life and changing the world at my personal scale. I am trying to develop my photography skills, but only when I am travelling in truth.

Music, Movies, and Books

All musics of the world though mostly rock, George Orwell-1984, Paul Auster, Edgar A. Poe, Comics, Bande-Dessinee, Mangas, Animations in their various forms, fiction and non-fiction, all types of movies though I do prefer those that make you think or those with an interesting sense of aesthetics, although art is more than just beauty.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard question, what would one consider amazing?
Had to beg in the Quito airport to pay the airport tax to get home once.
Almost won the Paris air guitar contest some time ago.
I have seen some beautiful places in the world, Iguazu, Ushuaia, Victoria falls, African savanna, big cities and calm country sides. Music festivals, meet great artists.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach English and maybe a bit of French, I could even try to teach Spanish but that is pushing it a bit.
I can talk about literature and music, a bit about movies and photography, tried learning a variety of foreign languages and traveled in quite a few places.
I can teach some basic cooking skills, and whatever knowledge I can share.
I would like to learn about anything, no really.
