HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I believe strongly in a community of people that are kind and hospitable to one another regardless of age, ethnicity, or other surface differences. the bottom line is that we all share a sense of (humor) humanity.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I once met one of the co-founders of CS on an amtrak train heading from Chicago to Seattle. He was going to Montana and I to Washington. We shared maragitas out of a thermos on the d/l in an observation car and traded hitchhiking stories.

Interests

playing music, rock climbing, backpacking, cycling, kayaking, reading, writing, zazen practice, yoga, vegetarianism, cooking, making green juice, brewing kombucha, farmers markets, photography, vinyl, slacklining, skydiving, base jumping, lively conversation, climbing stuff i'm not supposed to, wilderness exploration, world travel, having a trip always on the horizon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

free-solo climbing a 300ft radio tower covertly in the dark. Getting to the top just in time for dawn.
