Well I think my philosophy can be best described by a list of likes and dislikes.
Like: People, conversation, music, art, love, honesty, pasta, science, debate, convictions, movement, materialism, family, kids, knowledge, wit, irony, dogs, style, rhetoric, rapport, winning, mordancy, friends, fence sitting, beauty, sex, easy, language, transcendence, curry, brains, Einstein, freedom, black humour, democracy, alcohol, purpose, efficiency, danger, unnecessary swearing, juxtaposition, galaxies, travel, smartphones.

Dislike: corruption, disingenuousness, lying, irrationality, superficiality, materialism, celebrity, overgeneralising, dogma, intolerance, extremism, violence, tradition, rhetoric, black and white thinking, pretentiousness, spiders, overconfidence, fence sitting, aggression, denial, racism, death, kiddie fiddling, exploitation, stupidity, red-tape, greed, extravagance.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Host people, surf and tell as many people as I can about this brilliant idea. I really think this project is making a difference to the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted lots of backpackers in Rockhampton. Never guessed it would be such a tourist destination. Surfed around Europe which was fantastic and with a couple of amazing hosts in Africa. Everyone has been interesting and well worth meeting and you get to experience crazy unique things. Love it.

ALL kinds of sport (its like art with a goal), music, philosophy, religion, science, how the world works and what can be done to make it better.

Music: I like a good mix but probably in this order Nueva Cumbia Chilena, Electronica, indie, Soul/blues/rock n roll, Classic Rock, metal, chill out music, Punk.
Movies: Stuff with deep themes or realistic action. Good comedy too.
TV: Comedy and documentaries.

Books: Non-fiction or realistic fiction. Stuff that teaches you or makes you feel emotions. Modern classics.

The Namib Desert was the most beautiful/moving vista.
Crashing a paraglider into the sea was one of the most exciting moments.
