My parents raised my siblings and I in remote, unique places - an Inupiat village bordering the Arctic Ocean and a tiny island near Seattle - and I've been addicted to discovering far-off lands and cultures ever since. I thus majored in French and moved to Europe right after graduation - à très vite j'espère!
