About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy the fluidity of life. Be prepared for and enjoy the unexpected.

ABOUT ME

I love smiling, laughing and enjoying anything that I am doing. I have recently fallen in love with traveling and have spent the past year and a half in Japan. I would like to someday work for UNICEF or an organization like that in helping to solve some international problems. I wanna change the world in big ways and think that traveling is a big part of how I will accomplish that goal. I love life and believe strongly in the idea of kharma that we will at some point feel the effects of decisions we make, both good and bad, and there is an ultimate balance to life.

PHILOSOPHY

Love everyone, no matter what. Smile at the world and it will smile back at you (I think this is a quotation from somebody, but I am not sure who.)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just started and actually am about to embark on around a two month long journey through some parts of Asia. I have just spent a year and a half in Japan and have absolutely fallen in love with it. I want to see more of Asia, in different shapes, sizes and colors. I want to see some different cultures from this part of the world. And I would love it if I could meet some new people and get to see these new places through the eyes of someone who has some experience in it. Because I know how it is different to see a place for a few days, or to be living in a place for a few months, or even a few years. Both are wonderful and both are different.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only hearing conversations about what an excellent experience was had, and the things I have picked up from reading some of the experiences written on the website, and through reading many profiles and seeing just how many wonderful people are involved in this wonderful thing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This is too difficult for me to put into paragraph form. Some things off the top of my head include, many different natural landscapes mountains, lakes, rivers, volcanoes, just to name a few. I loved the great wall of china, have seen some different cultural and national artifacts in the US (I've been to over 25 states in my life) as well as different spiritually and culturally significant places in Spain, Japan, China, Korea, Laos and Thailand.
