I want to become a professional skier, I figure it's about time someone paied me to do what I love.

PHILOSOPHY

Good things tend to happen to good people. I always try to do my hardest to be a good person. Respect is a very important thing to me, from small stuff to big stuff, Respect is huge. That doesn't mean you can't have fun, fun is also very important. Life is good, life is fun, enjoy the hell out of it, if you're not, change what you're doing. It's not worth it to be unhappy. Try to find something funny in every situation. Live for the benefit of others. (this doesn't mean become a tool, just do what you can to help someone else out)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new here, and currently traveling/studying in South America. As for this I have no couch to offer. When I return to the US, I will have a couch like you wouldn't believe, and show people a bit of my life if they want.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, I came to Santiago Chile for a semester of school, to hone in on my Spanish skills. The first weekend, I had to get out of the city, a new friend of mine and I took off to a small town south of Santiago. She had couchsurfed before, I hadn't. She had gotten in touch with a surfer form this area, Talca, who couldn't host, he already had surfers. Never the less, that didn't stop George from showing us around his home town, and inviting us to dinner. I thought to my self... 'a network or people like this? I must be a part of this.' Here I am. Teach, Learn, Share

I have had my house burn down in front of my eyes, and thus I have re thought a lot of things about my life. I have also recently realized how quickly we can leave this world, and that every moment is precious, it's not worth wasting any second stressed, or angry. Stop and take time for yourself (this doesn't mean 'be selfish' simply stop on your way to/from work/school, and look at the sunset/sunrise, enjoy yourself)
