To learn culture and languages
I would like to see myself as original, explorative, creative and satisfied with the small things but insanely curious about things that are above and beyond our understanding. Fascinated with culture, language, literature, music, arts performance art, film and social science
open to everything, nothing is for sure. Truth and facts and absolute beliefs seem to me, to be for the ignorant. Religion is too absolute for me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I try to be there to advise my visitors, but on occasions I let them do the majority of exploring themselves.
I have never been surfing on other peoples coaches, but I have had a few people on my couch,.. Great experience!!!! I have met some other people that I stay in touch with too....
I love to play music, both piano and trumpet. From a young age I've always been involved with all sorts of sports, tennis, water sports, winter sports, skating, surfing football, volleyball... etc.
World politics is also something that grabs my attention at the moment as there is so much injustice. I read a lot. I love to read books from different parts of the world, with different social, cultural, political and historical aspects.
Music, Movies, and Books
Kafka, Camus, Tolstoy Dostoyevsky, Orwell, Mark Twain, Pablo Neruda, Nobokov, James Joyce, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Hemingway, F Scott. Fitzgerad, Tolstoy Beckett..........
Too many movies to mention. Citizen Kane, Delicatessen. Mainly european.
To much music to mention,.. I like all sorts from classical to Fado to country, to rock.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been left in awe from different shades of grey, a shadow, a word formation, an originality of thought or simply a pattern of raindrops on the window pane.
Teach, Learn, Share
