ABOUT ME

i'm fun, loyal, thoughtful. i like to stay out all night dancing and talking, but i need alot of sleep, so i'm always balancing the two. i'm a healer. it's my calling. it makes me happy to make people happy. trees have always spoken to me, and learning to make my life more sustainable is a real focus for me right now. i'm a communitarian, and i believe deeply in the essential goodness of all people, couchsurfing has only cemented this belief!

PHILOSOPHY

what is - is. so have fun. and our own happiness is dependant on the happiness of those around us. so make sure they are having fun, too. for me, fun is connecting with people, connecting with the flow, challenging myself, or sometimes staring at the ceiling for hours.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i surf occasionally and now an then offer one of my rentals to surfers. i always try to put back way more than i take out of the system!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i surfed in dublin and had a great time, and hosted a few people in brooklyn. i haven't had time for couchsurfing the last few years, but am excited to start up again :)

i like to dance, and listen to music, and go out to bars, and talk to friends, and do massage, and reiki, and yoga. i like cooking healthy food, and sometimes eating really decadent food. i enjoy working on my house. i like researching green products. i'm really into david allen's to-do list system "getting things done". i almost went to business school, but opened an eco friendly store instead. i really like jumping out of airplanes and flying around the sky with my friends.

right now i'm watching nova. i also like bobby flay throwdown and united states of tara. i'm currently reading alfie kohn's "unconditional parenting" to learn how to better parent myself. i just finished "eat, love, pray" and loved it. my current favorite musicians are yelle, hot chip, ttc, ray lamontagne (electronica and acoustic rock) in the past i have listened to portishead, sinead oconnor, ruby, skinny puppy, thrill kill kult, michael franti.
