ABOUT ME

What to say? I always find it hard to be original in these things...
I think I'm easy-going, open for new experiences and meeting new people, I like being busy...
In my free time I like to play sports, to have dinner with friends, concert, films, festivals... And of course as almost all couchsurfers I love to travel!
I work as a policy advisor on health care and sports for a small municipality in the middle of Holland. Next to that I enjoy volunteering, like helping somebody learning Dutch and working in a community garden. And a new "mission" is to learn some Spanish myself...
I live in an appartment in the north of the city Utrecht, together with my boyfriend Alain. It's a nice place, come and visit us some time :-)!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've joined because during the time I traveled, I always enjoyed meeting people from different countries and cultures.
It would be fun to meet travelers from all over the world and guide them around my city Utrecht or the rest of Holland. I'm up for many different activities, from getting a drink to visiting festivals to going hiking or so.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had some couchsurfers over and went to a few CS events in Utrecht. In 2009 I made a CS trip myself, to Prague, and had a really good time! I was hosted by very nice people. Last year I had a good time with other couchsurfers in San Sebastian. So I'm planning to keep the CS spirit up and to keep on hosting and surfing!
