ABOUT ME

We are an easy going family who love travelling, meeting new people, and learning new things. We are looking for new adventures and think CS is a great way to experience culture while travelling to different places.

Tico
* Born in Canada, but Brazilian background
* Smart, charming, and witty (it's Bec writing this :P)
* Is a Pilot
* Loves watching & playing Soccer

Bec
* Born in England, but cheers for Brazilian soccer (yes, I'm officially a traitor :P)
* love to keep active, always up for a new adventure
* Is a Teacher
* Likes to fly kites

Ezekiel and Tiago:
* Our two sons - They are 3 and 1 and we love having them around. They keep us busy, but are lots of fun. Ezekiel is especially interested in airplanes, helicopters, trucks, tractors, and trains (all things with wheels basically) and Tiago is at the stage where he just likes to get into everything (ex: emptying our plant pot and throwing and eating the dirt from it)

Both:
* Have been in a dragon boat race
* Love trekking to places off the "beaten path"

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are still somewhat new to the experience, but have had some great experiences with the program so far in both Europe and North America.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in France, Portugal, and a few cities in Canada. Hosted while living in Fort Vermilion, Alberta. and have met up with people while living in Orillia.

Movies - Can't beat live theatre, but in movies, I like a wide range. I really enjoy docudramas and Independent films. Specific lighter, all-time favourite titles include: Pride & Prejudice, Dumb & Dumber, Princess Bride, Hot Shots, Office Space, The Gods must be Crazy, Monty Python, Blades of Glory, Rat Race, The Holiday, Mozart & The Whale, Muffins for Granny, While you were Sleeping, Australia, and also the Planet Earth series is fantastic!

Music - will listen to all types, but especially like Coldplay, Moby, U2, Beatles, Switchfoot, Superchic, Phil Joel, Jack Johnson and mix of Classical music (Bach, Beethoven, Vivaldi)

Books - Bible, Auto-biographies, Mysteries. Specific titles include Walls of my Heart, No Compromise (Keith Green), Friendship Evangelism, need to do more reading...
