ABOUT ME

i am open to new ideas and people, would love to hear your ideas on things! I am a social worker and I believe that we are capable on group and individual levels to make this world a better place to live in. I previously worked directly with children and families, and now work with organizations that provide services to children and families. Before coming to NYC for school, I lived in Key West, FL enjoying the weather, and before that Montana and Chicago. I haven't done much travel (yet!) but always have the bug. Really enjoy learning about different places and cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am not able to host, but I will gladly make a connection with fellow couchsurfers. I love the cultural exchange that I get through couchsurfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met someone in NYC that hosts couch surfers, he told me about it and I was sold. Now I have surfed a couple of times and have had a really positive experience. I have also met up with both fellow travelers and with local folks for coffee and exploration. Nice to feel I have traveling companions where ever I go!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

off the florida keys, sailing one evening after dark, I sailed right through a patch of glowing bioluminescent jellyfish, hundreds of circles of pulsating glow. really beautiful moment with mother nature.
