CURRENT MISSION
writing, learning, and speaking about the solidarity economy
ABOUT ME
I suppose that I'm the type of person that finds it a little awkward to try to sum up my personality in a few witty paragraphs. I grew up in a small town, reading voraciously. I've travelled extensively, but have never lived too far far home. A few years ago, while in Brazil, I discovered the concept (and practice) of the solidarity economy, and I've been trying to learn more about it ever since. I guess I would describe couchsurfing as part of the solidarity economy in a sense - a community of people with some shared values meeting basic human needs while networking.
I'm an economist by trade, but more of a dreamer outside of office hours. Right now I am at a transition point in my life - working and looking for an opportunity to live abroad.
