ABOUT ME

I'm currently a senior at Cornell University, finishing up my bachelors in Animal Science and hoping to get into the NC State vet school. My boyfriend, Andrew is finishing up his masters in Marine Biology and looking into a PhD. We've been together for almost two years and will be doing most of our traveling together :) We're both pretty easy going, fun loving and a little quirky. Really into science and often talk about nerdy things. Andrew has traveled to the locations listed below. Kaylan hasn't been out of the U.S. and both are looking to travel across the U.S. before venturing out of the states.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Neither of us are able to host any couch surfers at the moment because we both live with roommates (and very uncomfortable couches). But once we move to NC we will have a room/couch available

Interests

A: predator prey interactions in marine communities, elasmobrach migration, fish population dynamics, marine conservation and restoration, whitewater kayaking, rock climbing, snowboarding, mountain biking, Pittsburgh Penguins, camping, and last but not least, Kay. And reaaaallllll dogs (large sized)

K: animal agriculture, acupuncture, eating vegetables, my horse Gus, dairy cows, cooking, local food, sewing and general domesticity, reading, beer and wine, snowboarding, camping, coffee, checking craigslist excessively for the perfect place to live, sustainability and going to farmer's markets.
