About Me
CURRENT MISSION
urghh heavy question... maybe to soak up culture and not smash up culture
ABOUT ME
Interests
I love activism, which is lucky coz i would do it anyway. I mainly love forest activism... i wanna spend as much time as i can out of the city and in the bush. I visited the blockade of the old growth Florentine valley in Tasmania, in Australia a year or so ago and fell in love.
I love kickboxing, thought am still pretty inexperienced. I took off to Thailand at the start of the year to train. It was one of the most incredible things i have ever done; strict routine, total respect to trainers, pushing your body to its limits, discovering pains in muscles you never even knoew existed, health, speed, technique.
I love music. I love drumming but again, am pretty inexperienced, but love a good jam. I love singing; experimenting with voice and sound. I love the sounds of the Middle East... and India... and Africa.. and most places. I love traditional indigenous instrumemnts made from the earth ingredients.
i love climbing, and you know whats coming, pretty inexperienced. DOne some big big tree climbing, love rock climbing too. I like how it is more of a game then tree climbing. Having to figure out the next move. Strategic. Though then i also love the freedom of tree climbing, when you just wanna use your body and be high.
I love photography, but im not proud of any of my work. I wanana capture every wrinkle, every pimple, every pore, every hair, every crevace and crease, every cheecky smirk, but mainly every image of devestation and despair. We cover it all up too much, especially in the west it seems.
I love skateboarding, but nowadays only use my old school long board as a form of transport.
i think i will love snowboarding... so thats why im heading to NZ to try it out!
Im also into yoga, meditation, painting, reading and just do it for kicks.
I also am quite obsessed with language, particulary signed languages, such as the Australian sign language Auslan. i believe that if you all knew how to sin then Deafness would no longer be seen as a disability, but a alternative way of living.
and sailing, so if you can hook a sister up that would be nice.
