ABOUT ME

First off, I go by Kristina. I work as a full-time RN, a career that I am new too thus still have muh to learn. So on my time apart from work I sometimes will be reading a text book to keep learning. Aside from this, I also enjoy to spend time with my dog, Teddy Bear, as well as go out with friends. I am close with my sister, whom I also live with, so often we're planning our free days together.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to CS, having learned about it just recently from a co-worker. I am drawn to the notion that travelling can be more than just tourist iteneraries and guides, but through CS can be a social experience that immerses you in the local attitudes and customs, getting to experience first-hand from someone who lives there! And at the end of the day I'd hope that I'd leave with more than just priceless memories, but a friend in a new part of the world!

My most memorable travel experience was to Thailand where I'd done a month-long nursing practicum in a rural city not dominated by tourist. I was led around by Thai locals and was priveleged to experience their everyday-life customs.
