ABOUT ME

I am currently studying Business and Environmental Studies. I am interested in economic solutions to global warming.

I enjoy creative writing, exercise (weight lifting, boxing, etc), the violin, skiing, travel, reading, cooking, cheese and wine, music, rain, and movies. I am an outgoing person who is interested in everything.

This summer I am backpacking through Europe with two friends from high school (the two goofy characters in my Halloween picture). We're hoping to see Amsterdam, Koblenz, the Rhine Valley castles, Lucerne, Interlaken, Luzembourg, Bruges, and Brussels!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in a very boring part of the world...as such I enjoy meeting people with different perspectives from my own. I love to travel and share some wacky stories with people.

I can't offer to be a host due to the size of my lodging and people don't often come to visit where I live, but I can promise if anyone chooses to host me that I will be a gracious guest. I have good manners,clean up after myself, and can cook decently if people are interested : )

Music: metal (progessive, death, experimental, metalcore), classical music, jazz, alternative rock, and much more

Books: fantasy (A Song of Ice and Fire series, Lord of the Rings, etc), the Illiad, Odyssey, and Aeneid, 1984, A Clockwork Orange, Lord of Flies, etc

Movies: Fight Club, Donnie Darko, Pan's Labyrinth, Children of Men, Kingdom of Heaven, Monty Python, Match Point, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-have swum with a school of sharks in the Galapagos
-have been bungee jumping
-have eaten raw conch and guinea pig
-have been dogsledding in -20F weather
