ABOUT ME

I'm a people person! I like meeting new & interesting people from all walks of life. I absolutely love travel and try and carry a 'travel state of mind' even when i'm sitting on the couch at home.

Born in New Zealand, grew up in Australia, moved back to New Zealand. Went to uni, dropped out, partied a lot, traveled a heap. Fell madly in love with the earth and all it's beauty. Back at uni now, making coffees for a crust and thoroughly enjoying being a broke student. Would love to be traveling but that must wait for the moment, so come all ye travelers and help me pretend i'm traveling. I'll pack my backpack, put some fisherman pants on (and heaps of festival and random macrame wristband thingys) and we can pretend my house is a hostel. I'll even put some bob marley on. Or, even better, we can pitch a tent in the backyard and camp under the stars. It'll be awesome!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Haven't participated yet (despite joining in 2009). I never bothered to do anything with my account after setting it up but i've got a bit of time on my hands now and finally a place to host people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined couchsurfing in 2009 in the middle of my epic round the world travels but never ended up participating in any way. I won't be travelling for at least the next year and so I figure it's a good way to meet open-minded traveler types while i'm busy with my studies. It's also an opportunity for me to help out fellow travelers. I've had so many AWESOME people help me out on my travels, it'd be nice to give something back.

TRAVEL!!! Getting out into the great outdoors, festivals (I LOVE a good boogie), music, gardening, permaculture and sustainability issues. Trying new things and meeting new people!
