Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Keeping my sanity in the smallest village in Japan.
ABOUT ME
Living in a village with only one restaurant and more people over the age of 70 has taught me to take everything pretty slow. Also, I've gotten used to spending large chunks of my free time inside of a car. As long as you aren`t a bug trying to eat me alive, chances are pretty good we`ll get along.
PHILOSOPHY
It`s all right with me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Not much yet, but I guess it`s my responsibility to show these mountains to someone.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Met a French guy who was staying with a friend of mine. Good conversation and exchanging music were had.
Interests
Books, movies, procrastinating, failing at cooking, spending at least a portion of my weekends hungover, killing poisonous centipedes.
Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Great Gatsby, Man in the High Castle, Norwegian wood, Thin Man, The Long Goodbye.
Movies: Death Race 2000, Primer, Clerks, Terminator 2, Serenity, There Will be Blood, Jacob`s Ladder, Blade Runner.
Music: Icelandic stuff, electronic stuff, happy, soft stuff.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing Matsushima at night.
Teach, Learn, Share
Smoking inside supposedly prevents poisonous centipedes from coming into your house. Also, no matter how fast you`re driving, monkeys don`t really give a shit and will stare you down from the middle of the road.
