Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see the entire world, one vacation day at a time.
ABOUT ME
I rock like a birch bark canoe in a rapid stream.
Or, maybe more like a wicker chair on Grampa's porch; but certainly not like a woven hammock, swinging in the gentle breeze. I play drums and guitar, in local bands. I'm not really interested in watching sports on TV, but I like playing most. I wish I had started travelling when much younger; I can't get enough of seeing the world. I am fascinated with European art architecture, history, language and culture (including food!). I'm not married, nor do I have children - but maybe someday.
PHILOSOPHY
Live life to the fullest, respecting those around you, and celebrating diversity and dialogue. There's so much in the world to wonder at, to stand in awe of, to be simulaneously humbled by and inspired by.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love classic literature, and "classical" lit (Greek and Latin lit), especially epics, and the tragedies. Christopher Moore is an American author whose work I find especially amusing and witty. Bill Fitzhugh's works similarly entertain. The Canadian novelist Robertson Davies is essential reading for anyone.
