ABOUT ME

I live in Wivenhoe, Colchester and have done since I became involved in life at University of Essex where I am currently studying- although living in the countryside I take alot of enjoyment from exploring cities. Cities are amazing, and I want to visit lots, some of my favourites include....Bishkek, Berlin, York, Manchester, Glasgow, Murcia, Amsterdam, Siena, Accra, Fez, Paris and, once upon a time, London but not so much now.
Obviously, there's a story behind all of these places, most importantly.... family from Scotland, wife and extended family from Kyrgyzstan (I am a proud kyu-bala), degree from Northern England, first couchsurfing experience in Spain.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment soon to be travelling, housing situation has never really let me host people, this September this will change. Have had very good couchsurfing experience, long may it continue.
Will happily and gladly host people in future, show around Wivenhoe and its environs and generally help out anyone passing through this part of the world. Contact me or Gulzat.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was once nearly involved in a game of Ulak-Tartysh (Kyrgyz Goat Polo) but the horse I was riding changed its mind. I have amazing luck when it comes to riding horses.

Teach, Learn, Share

I play guitar, but then everybody seems to do that. Can also teach komuz (3 stringed Kyrgyz national instrument).
Always up for rehearsing my Russian.
