About Me
CURRENT MISSION
TO meet as many people as possible on my journeys in hopes of broadening my horizons and making a difference in this world
ABOUT ME
I graduated from university in May 2012 in Florida and I moved to Australia with my Aussie boyfriend in June '12. I absolutely love it here, but finding work has been a challenge and I would really like to meet some girlfriends. I'm very easy-going and down to earth and I love a good latte or glass of wine. I really enjoy live music and good company and I'm keen to meet new people.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe there is no time like the present and life is too short to do things you do not enjoy. I believe the people we meet in our lives are meant to teach us lessons and show us different ways. It is no coincidence when you meet someone again and again or you are brought to someone you've just met but you feel as though you've known them a lifetime.
I do not want to fall into the typical American norm of graduating, getting a job, getting married, having kids and working my tail off for something less than satisfactory. I want to travel the world and build incredible relationships.
Family is everything to me. I want to do as much traveling as I can before I settle down to raise a family of my own.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been SCUBA diving since I was 12 years old and I worked in the Cayman Islands over the summers. I have had euphoric experiences while being submersed in my favorite place. I have had amazing encounters with sharks, seen incredible schools of fish. Gone through incredible cathedral swim thrus where you pop out and you can see so far down the wall that it is blue until it turns black.
I have been to some AMAZINGLY beautiful places in Alaska. I have white water rafted in the Kenai Peninsula and seen huge grizzly bears, bald eagles, moose, caribou, antelope, and many more.
I have seen my aunt die and I have seen my good friend give birth to her baby girl. Those two experiences have changed my life forever because I have seen how incredible simple life is and how insanely complex we make it.
I have studied humpback whales in Maui and swam with wild dolphins on the Big Island in Hawaii. Hawaii holds a special place in my heart and I would love to live there at some point.
I studied the natural history of Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands with my university and had a life-changing month of incredible adventures there. I stayed in an eco-lodge off the Napo river and in the cloud forest. While in Galapagos I spent 10 incredible days on a yacht visiting several different islands. This trip in 2011 was SO incredible and I took so many pictures that I will treasure forever.
I did a semester abroad in Australia in 2011 and while I was here I fell in love with Australia and an Aussie and I moved here in June 2012 with my Australian boyfriend.
