ABOUT ME

I study anthropology and I'm specially interested in the questions of heritage, tourism and identities. I have a special interest in vernacular architecture. Ask me about it, and I could talk for hours !

Then, I like wandering in big cities and getting lost, hiking in the mountains in summer, cooking with friends, drinking too much coffee, taking pictures, naps, not planning to much ahead, chilling in parks, reading the news on a terrasse and spontaneous parties.

Some people say I am a great traveler, but I prefer to define myself as a pluri-sedentary person. I just tend to create new homes in places I visit and come back as often as I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started couchsurfing in 2009 during a solo trip to Berlin and I had such a great experience that I have continued since then. I am very enriched and thankful for all the people I have met that way, for their personal stories and generosity.

I'm passionate about humain behavior, different cultures, faiths, food... that's why it is what I study.

Travelling, that's amazing, isn't it ?

- restaured traditional wooden houses in Romania and earthen houses in Togo
- visited the Grand Canyon
- partied in New Orleans for Mardi Gras
- celebrated legal gay marriage and Pride in San Francisco

Then, one special thing about me, I like looooong trips. I have done :
- Paris - Bucharest by bus (40 hours)
- Montréal - Vicksburg (Mississippi) by bus (48 hours)
- Chicago - San Francisco by train (59 hours)
- Seattle - Chicago by train (52 hours)
