I live in Ithaca, New York and work at Cornell University as an academic advisor. I also volunteer as the advisor for Cornell's Outing Club, an almost 100-year-old club that introduces students to the great outdoors.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been hosting couchsurfers since 2009 and have met so many wonderful people. I especially enjoy when we get to see each other again in other parts of the world.

Interests

I love to ski. I visit several new mountains each winter and my next big project is planning a ski trip to Japan in 2027.

Music, Movies, and Books

My strategy is to have one fiction and one nonfiction book going at the same time. I'm currently reading The Count of Monte Cristo and a book about skiing.
