ABOUT ME

I have been cooking for a living for 16 years now and have been a carpenter for 8 years. I frequently work in Antarctica and have done most cooking in Arizona. I am an easy going mellow dude. I love music, hiking, and going to concerts and festivals. I am also a big fan of fishing. Mostly lakes because I do not know how to fly fish yet. I love to travel, but have not done enough.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I am always on the go I do not have a place of my own. If I did I would definately lend my couch. So I am hoping that a kind soul will lend me theirs when I am passing through.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet other than in the USA. It was before this website existed and I have also couchsurfed many friends houses. Not to live but for a night or two.

Interests

I love going to live music or art shows. I have a lot of friends in the music and live art scene. I love dancing and grooving. I love drinking beer in the woods or at the lake with a fishing pole in the water. I love camping and beautiful sunsets. I also enjoy relaxing and hanging out with friends and family.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like stupid comedy movies. I really love underground hip hop and old school hip hop. I don't really like radio play or top 40 hip hop. I love bluegrass too. Not much of a reader except the newspaper.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to the most remote camp in Antarctica this year (2009)

Teach, Learn, Share

I will teach my cooking skills to anyone who hosts. Also any carpentry advice and share any music i have with me at the time. I would also like to hear some of your local music.
