ABOUT ME

Hello prospective friends!
My name is Roger, currently working in Hamburg doing my undergraduate thesis as apart of my degree back in Australia.

I am eager to explore, meet anyone who likes to live and learn from the people around you. As I am studying engineering I am very clean and conscious about things in general.

I get around via bicycle in Hamburg, and so far no distance is too far. So if anyone is up for some outdoors exploring or just meeting up for a beverage of some kind, let me know :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am just travelling at the moment, and living in dorms at a university. So unfortunately can't offer a couch. But many of my friends have heard about the CS effort, and I have heard from some of them... So no doubt when I get back to Australia it will be my honour to offer a couch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only had one GREAT CS experience here in Germany so far. Where a fellow surfer and I were on our way to the Bavarian Alps. Along the way we stopped in at Nuremburg, where we didnt have a couch until we went to a regular Cs social gathering at a pub. We humbly introduced our selves and had a great couch by the end of the night right in town. Thankyou Nuremburg Couch Surfers!

Interests

I am interested in: Many sports, Outdoors adventure, Electronics, Computers, Environmental considerations, sustainable energy solutions. And of course a social drink of any kind with new and old friends.

Well I have no real favourites, I like this form of entertainment when you need not to think after a long week or you are exhausted. But often prefer reading academic literature if any or watching ted talks :)

Teach, Learn, Share

well this seems like a cool idea.. I would happy to talk to people about basic mathematics for engineering, or computers, micro-controllers, C, Matlab and simulink (some engineering software) or production sound and lighting. I have a very open mind and love hearing people stories and understanding life for everyone.. So Always eager to learn
