To meet excellent people who are friendly and like to have a laugh (robots, animals and inanimate objects that dance are also welcome in my life)

ABOUT ME

I was born in Melbourne Australia, and moved to Scotland 6 years ago. I studied music improvisation but when I finished my degree decided it wasn't for me. Now I have a small business making silver jewellery for my label The Curious Swift, but don't make very much money so I work in a cafe as well. I play music with my bands Danger Danger Run Run Run and The Lost Todorovs. Sometimes I make children's costumes and floats and props for parades. I like wearing ridiculous costumes on stage and making up bad choreography with my band-mates. I love crafting and illustration and monsters. I love music and graffiti and the beach and eating outside. I love teacups but don't drink tea. I love gardening but don't have a garden. I am an excellent baker but a terrible actor. I am moderately obsessed with Japan. I like to dance like a robot but I am not very skilled at it.

I am keen to host people whenever possible, and visit new cities and experience them from a local perspective

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted several people as my housemate Anne is a long term couch surfing convert. We've had people stay from Italy, the states and france and all have been exceedingly lovely. I have just recently had my first stay on a foreign CS couch and it was just lovely. We had so much in common and were able to have a good laugh
