I am interested in travel,art,film,music, animals, anthropology, nature, and good, mostly vegetarian food..

Interests

Right now I'm travelling in the US with my friend Nicola in a camper van. It's been 3 months so far and really great. We have been down the east coast, throught the south, the mid west, and are now heading up the west coast and back into Canada. My interests at the moment are all to do with exploring the natural landscape, and soaking up everything that I can learn about American people, culture and history.

Music, Movies, and Books

On this trip I have read "The Grapes of Wrath" by John Steinbeck and "American Journey's" by Don Watson. Now I'm onto travels with Charley...
I like a lot of different types of music from all over, new and old. It has been so amazing seeing music in the South and the Midwest... especially the old school stuff like bluegrass in Nashville, acoustic blues in Mississippi on the porch and gypsy jazz in New Orleans.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As far as my travels go, Vietnam was a favourite because it was my first time living overseas (I was teaching English in Hai Phong city). Since then I have had a lot of other overseas adventures, and they were all great experiences. Now,I'm loving the US. Ridiculously friendly people, amazing landscapes, musical culture, and gorgeous native animals which are super exciting to see in the wild.
