ABOUT ME

I am Floortje, and live in Leiden. This is a small city in the Netherlands, near all the other big cities - Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Den Haag and Utrecht. If the trains are running in time, it will probably take 30-40 minutes to go to each of these cities. At the moment, I am not in Leiden however, but in New York! It's a great experience.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While being here in the USA for 4 months, it would be great to meet some people from the couchsurfing community! If I am back in Leiden, the Netherlands, I can show people around. I am not quite sure yet if I will have a couch available .. and will therefore change this part of my profile as soon as I know!

Centres d'intérêt

I am interested in meeting new people, and learning from new cultures. I try to gain as much of experiences as I can, both during my internship, as during my free time! I like to get to know people better than only shallow, because I think it's great to hear other people's experiences in life~! Other interests: Dancing (jazz, African, salsa, streetdance), child psychology and everything that's related to that, having dinner/ drinks with friends!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I've bungyjumped in Spain from a hight of 80 metres, which was scary, but totally worth it! (maybe this is not an amazing experience for everyone, but it was for me)
