ABOUT ME

I like teaching because it keeps me in a constant state of learning, plus the schedule allows time to travel during the summer. There are so many places I want to visit... I'm not the kind of traveler who needs to have the trip all planned out ahead of time. I prefer spending a few days in each place to hopping around endlessly to see it all.

I especially appreciate having down time to do simple things like shop at farmers’ markets and get my cooking inspiration from all the varieties of seasonal foods I find there. While I love to socialize and go out, I like to keep it in balance with the simplicity of sharing good food and conversation at home.
