COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed and hitched through Mexico met some awesome people and ate some delicious and spicy food.

Interests

Snokeling, snowboarding, diving, reading, watching, listening, traveling, cooking, eating, fishing, enjoying growing veges in my garden at the moment, doing things I haven't done before.

Music, Movies, and Books

For all these anything original I guess. I'm enjoying Wes Anderson as a director at the moment so, Life Aquatic, Darjeeling Limited, The Royal Tenenbaums, etc All the Cohen brothers stuff too. Music pretty broad really too, lots of classic alterative rock, Pixies, Janes Addiction, Alice in Chains, now days I'm listening to a lot more chilled electronic music, Lemon Jelly, Bonobo, stuff like that bit of hip hop good stuff though not cheezy poppy stuff, quite a bit of reggae and dub, mostly old stuff at the mo, like Toots and Maytals,Old Trojan compilations n ting, man this is too hard I'll just leave it at that. Books recent goodies I guess or the lists too long, The White Tiger, Everything is Illuminated, anything by Louise de Bernieres, Vernon God Little. I like stuff with a different narrative style to the norm.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Snorkeled with a whale shark in Mexico near an island called Isla Holbox, could nearly touch them was awesome.

I like meeting all types of people to be honest. That's what's fun about travelling. I am partial to a beer and a conversation with people about all sorts of topics. Meeting people that have a very different culture from my own is always enjoyable as I like learning about other cultures.
