About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To inspire and get inspired.

ABOUT ME

I like to talk just as much as I like to listen. I am a very easy and understanding person. I have the patience of a Buddhist monk and the sense of humor of a stand-up comedian. I keep an eye on the bigger picture all the time, and I am constantly seeking to hear new perspectives, specially when I share my thoughts - I like being proven wrong because it shows me different roads I haven't traveled.

PHILOSOPHY

We all need to Parkour through life. There are so many things to see, so many people to meet - we must embrace the moment and be a "yes (wo)man".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I Surf and Host! When I travel, I want to meet the host and invite them along if they have time. When I host, I strive for my guests to feel at home. Couch Surfing is not AirBnb, we do it for the friendships and stories, not for the extra cash.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Love it. Couchsurfers are the next level of the social-economy, not based on money but based on karma and goodwill.

Interests

I am pretty much interested in a lot of things. Politics, History, Movies, Pop-culture, Cooking, - you name it- I probably have an opinion about it, and I would love to share it with you.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like movies with a good plot or that are fun. My music library is like a medicine cabinet for the soul, I will listen to different things in different occasions from Buena Vista Social Club to Earth, Wind and Fire. Books- I like books with a heart, not just a story.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I like to travel a lot. I have many of these stories- but the most interesting, was when I got invited to a Himba tribe gathering in Okorosave in Namibia, and the locals taught me how to speak Otji-Herrero and explained their customs and traditions to me. I felt like all the values I learned in the west were so generic after that.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy meeting people with a story. We all have interesting things that happen in our lives- I like people that know how to share them in order to inspire and entertain. I myself will do the same in return.

Countries I’ve Visited

Aruba, Canada, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Saint Lucia, United States, Venezuela

Countries I’ve Lived In

Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Honduras, Netherlands, Netherlands Antilles, Nicaragua
