ABOUT ME

I like to think that I'm a down-to-earth, fun-loving, adventurous girl. I've lived in Germany, New Zealand and Britain and gone on a solitary round-the-world gap year and worked in several countries as a journalist (Ghana, South Africa, US), as a translator (South Africa), Cowgirl or Jillaroo (Australia) and photographer (Galápagos Islands, Ecuador). I'm a graduate travel journalist, who loves writing and photography, as well as British TV.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I do have a couch that folds into a double bed. I like to meet and talk to new people, so give me a shout whether you need someone to show you around and have a drink with or a bed to stay the night!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never hosted or surfed through this website, but I have slept on plenty of couches and have opened my home to others before.

Interessen

My hobbies include travelling and exploring (of course), photography, my blog Fernweh & Wanderlust, writing fiction and British TV (Sherlock, Doctor Who etc.)

I'm always up for a good time and a good laugh! I'm usually happiest when I'm on the road to somewhere, and roadtrips are my favourite form of travel. Mind you though, I will take loads of photos.
