About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Strap a guitar to my back and travel the world while making music and letting my hair grow.

ABOUT ME

I'm an easy-going guy with the wish to disappear abroad for at least a while and experience other cultures while sharing my own.

You can wake me up anytime to harass me with a good Beatles record or spaghetti western...really, you can!

PHILOSOPHY

Keep moving forward.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Whenever possible, I'm willing to share my couch. It would be great if I could crash on someone else's couch sometime as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a few people in Breda, which was all good fun! Now I just need to start exploring the hospitality of others ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: The Beatles, William Fitzsimmons, Elvis Presley, Crowded House, Damien Rice, Sigur Ros, Pink Floyd and many more.

Films: Big Fish, Simon, Lost in Translation, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, Mar Adentro, etc.

Books: His Dark Materials, Artemis Fowl, Don Rosa's Uncle Scrooge albums

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Besting the High Tatras in Slovakia without the common sense to use proper climbing gear. The climb was steep, slippery and sometimes life-threatening, but wow, the rewards that lay in front of us were incredible! Wading through waterfalls, walking into a cloud, arriving in a beautiful valley overgrown with flowers after miles of just rocks...sights I'll carry with me for the rest of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm willing to teach anyone anything I know. What I would like to receive are nice stories and cool skills (like the art of the lumberjack).
