I want to open myself up to the world-learn and see as much as possible
I crave adventure. All I would like to do is expose myself to new opportunities, new experiences- I just want to learn from other people. Ideally, I would like to become a crafts woman and learn new crafts through my travels. I want to move past my fears, put myself out there and try, try, try whatever I can get my hands on.
"Travel is freedom... one of the last great sources of legal adventure. Travel is intensified living, with maximum thrills per minute. It's recess, and we need it. Travel changes people. It broadens perspectives and teaches new ways to measure quality of life. Many travelers toss aside their hometown blinders. Their prized souvenirs are the strands of different cultures they decide to knit into their own character. The world is a cultural yarn shop. Back Door Travelers are weaving the ultimate tapestry."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I can't really host right now as I currently live with my parents, but during the year I live on campus in Maryland, and would eventually like to have people come stay with me.
I recently had my first couchsurfing experience and it was amazing. I was able to really make connections with people and feel like I was not just staying at a hotel, but really getting to know the culture of the people. You really get to learn a lot about others.
