ABOUT ME

I'm attending Florida International University in Miami Florida studying international relations and theatre. International Relations is for practial purposes, more so for after graduation while theatre is just for fun now. Once I graduate, I'm planning on joining the Peace Corps and would love to do some work with Americorps as well. I want to work with Doctors without Borders after my service in the Peace Corps. I really just want to do my part to heal the world.

PHILOSOPHY

That's a tough one. I guess it would be to love. I know that sounds really cliche but I try to actually incoroporate that idea into my interactions with everyone I meet. If I can really show someone, even people I've just met, that I love them then maybe I'll be one step closer to healing the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite books are The Five People You Meet in Heaven, which is not a religious book, despite its name, and The Kite Runner. I read a lot though, so chances are most any book I pick up I'll enjoy. As far as movies go, I haven't seen too many but comedies rank high in my favorite films to watch though I do enjoy a good drama. I can not watch scary movies though, as I find them much too scary, haha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done is traveled. There are so many people who don't have the ability to travel and I have gotten to see a lot of this world and I think that is amazing. I am lucky.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't have any idea what my special knowledge is. I'm still trying to learn from other people before I can figure out what I have to offer. Not to say I don't have anything yet, I just don't know what it is. You'll have to meet me to find out! : ) Although, if I can pass on the ability to love everyone, that would be the special knowledge I would have. But of course, I'm still working on that myself.
