Develop myself as a professional and as a compassionate human being.

ABOUT ME

I am a law student. I will be graduating in May 2012, and will then find a real job as a lawyer.
I am currently studying as an exchange student at University of Copenhagen.
I am married to a wonderful man who is patient enough to live without me for a semester.
I enjoy nature and outdoor activities, as well as quiet things at home such as drawing, cooking, and watching TV shows.

FUN STUFF to do in Milwaukee:
You're lucky you're here in summer! We have cultural and music festivals almost every weekend. Some points of interest (of mine) are the art museum, zoo, mitchell park domes, Saturday farmers' markets, walking the Riverwalk, the expansive East Side parks, the beach (walking distance from my home), the ethnic, American, and vegetarian-friendly restaurants, our neighborhood bar, etc etc!

PHILOSOPHY

Live peacefully. Each person can make the world around him or her a little bit better.
Also important to me is hard work, and putting a good honest effort into what you do. I don't mean everyone has to have a high-paying job. Just feel that you are reaching your own potential and fulfilling your own goals.
Religion and politics are fine, but what matters to me is what you DO with it. So, I hope it doesn't turn you into a jerk. Point is: let's respect people no matter what.

I joined to meet people in Heidelberg when I was living there. I have hosted a few people in my home in Milwaukee, but for now am not hosting.

Radio Paradise .com without that stuff from the 80s.

Books... need to read more novels/fiction! Recent reads are Terry Pratchett, Neal Stephenson, Naomi Wolf (not fiction). I ALWAYS read The Economist magazine, and sometimes car and fashion magazines.

I could give tips to students living in Germany for their first time. I love to share my knowledge about any subject, especially the law or world politics. I can give advice on getting around in Milwaukee by bike or bus. If you're afraid of commuting in a city by bike, I can give tips.
