ABOUT ME

Jens is a public official recently turned high school teacher. Stine is working on her master thesis, working at a research center and teaching statistics at University of Copenhagen.

We enjoy the outdors, traveling, reading, films, making good food and exploring the city.

A good day is when getting the chance to walk everywhere, and get to have god interesting conversations about everything and nothing with good friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Jens has been a member for some time now and I have great symphaty for the project, so am counting on being a long time participant in the future as a host as well as a traveller.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted a few times, all with great succes. The best thing is when you find new friends that you get to see again, which has been the case a couple of times, with Kerstin and Johannes from Vienna and Baris and Deniz from Istanbul. We also fraternized a bit with the CS community in Santa Cruz while living there.

Interests

Music, films, literature, hiking, politics, sports, people...Its actually more difficult to come up with things that does not interest me. The problem is rather, that I sometimes have too little patience and thus come up with new projects/interest every months

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a weakness for german films - especially those of Fatih Akin. I typically cant remember the titles of the films I enyoed.
I also read a lot. Among my (non-danish) favourite authors are Houllebecq, Franzen, Chabon, Camus, Loe...
I'm mostly in to indie music, but do also enjoy listening to jazz, and the occasionally classical music.
