ABOUT ME

After spending several years as a gypsy, I have set up a homestead in Tel Aviv, where I edit news and bake pie. This year I am spending my vacation in the old country - Ukraine. Hoping to collect some excellent stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time I took a boat across the Amazon from Colombia to Brazil, slept in a hammock for 4 nights next to hundreds of South Americans and their children, chickens and bananas. I practiced my limping Spanish with a Chilean programmer who offered to marry me, was watched over by a motherly Brazilian whose hammock hung directly above mine, and witnessed a couple getting arrested in the middle of the night for drug trafficking.
