ABOUT ME
For most of 2017 I will be spending my time between Carpinteria, CA and Mendocino, CA, with periods of time in Boulder, CO. Im mostly just gardening and surfing. Trying to get some really cool projects done on my property.
I am a mellow and easy going guy who gets along with almost everyone. Every person in this world has a unique point of view and story to be told. Learning from other peoples' experiences in life is what shapes my own experiences in life. Reflecting upon and relating to not just my own life, but to all of the lives around me, has enabled me to see things in life I never thought possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new and interesting people. Also, I believe that it is silly to travel anywhere and rent a room or a campsite when there are so many hospitable people who are willing and wanting to share their shelter with you. This website is a great tool for connecting the world in a hospitable manner.
Thanks for considering me as a guest and/or a host!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies - I like 'em and get sucked into most movies pretty easily.
Music - Life is music. My perspective on music has changed so much over the course of my life, and is still changing. It is hard for me to have any favorites when it comes to music, but a composer by the name of John Zorn has been a standout for me for many years.
Books - I read 'em and I tend to read in spurts. Mostly non fiction, but also good doses of fiction from time to time.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a musician, and gladly share my musical knowledge, and my library of music. I mainly play the bass and trumpet. I can cook just about anything. Im no pro chef, but If you put it in front of me I can cook it. I can share my knowledge and experiences of brewing beer. I am a gardener and can share my experience with growing food. I am trained in Shiatsu and Swedish Massage, as well as Reiki, and can share my healing touch. I can share whatever i have at any given moment. My listening ears are always the easiest thing to share.
