ABOUT ME

i think im sort of "postmodernism nerd" - nerd, because i use words like postmodernism to describe oneself; postmodernism, because i exhibit only some of the nerd qualities, and do enjoy social activities. Maybe not as much as comparing continuous and progressive aspects in the asian languages, but still!

I am less "let's go to a club and get smashed" and more a “profound conversation” type of guy, with a caveat that getting smashed certainly still retains a lot of allure but it's just too health-heavy so I tend to avoid it, while a "profound conversation" encompasses the jedi ideology, resolving a "is pepsi better than coke" conundrum and similar topic of great importance.

i like to write, and have many unfulfilled ideas for commercial, shorts, etc. Ive made a short movie one for a student's competition and felt awesome.

i have been living for some time in China struggling to grasp the essence of it and after all this time, a lot of reading, many social intercourse, im still baffled. which is sort of conclusion after all.

dont really like to talk that much about myself, i much prefer listen. please look at the comments fellow CSers left me, combine it with those few lines ive left here, and you should have a picture of what "meeting mateusz sasinowski" experience is.

Music, Movies, and Books

i like art, because its entertaining, so i consume a lot. I have seen/read/heard a lot from very different genres and i think the only idea that always stick with me was "independence", whatever it might actually mean. I have 1tb external disk drive lying around, full with movies, books in two different flats (on two different continent! sound much more exciting than it is though), which gives a very tangible (and cumbersome in case of the books that i have to move every time i move) proof of my interests.
