Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used couchsurfing on my way to my new home. Here my two housemates have been hosting for awhile.
I'm opening this account to couchsurf requests because, though my roommates and I are all necessarily stringent in our consideration of prospective surfers, I feel I may have a different perspective than they.
I will use that perspective on you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experiences being hosted were pretty much the beginnings of a new angle on things, and led to some of the best parts of the life I lead now.
The best experiences of guests who have passed through my house, or my friends houses, have been of people motivated by their desire to learn or teach. These people always seem to strike up a frenzy of creativity in those around them. Encounters that are affected by this drive are what I like best.

I teach a free school class in my backyard on knot tying. Next week we're making hammocks.
