ABOUT ME

We are a swedish/australian couple.

The two of us met while Mattias was travelling in Australia 2005. We are passionate lovers of life, travelling, food, music, film and of course each other.

Since we met our home has moved a few times and now it's sitting on our backs as we are currently travelling around China.

We are an easy going couple who always enjoys meeting new people!

We like making the most of what life has to offer and appreciating all those little things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We're all new to the Couchsurfing community and currently we can only participate by being grateful and smiling couchsurfers.

We don't have a couch to offer as we are currently travelling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far but we are very excited about our first!

Interests

being a part of the travelling community and finding yourself experiencing new things in new places with new people, relaxing at a sunny cafe with friends, drinking beers whilst appreciating new live music, movie nights in comfy couches, hanging out in the kitchen cooking up a feast with a glass of wine in one hand, roadtrips, books, nature, hiking, learning new things and having a good time doing what you want in this life...

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: wow there's way to many to list them all but a really quick eclectic mix would be: anything written by charlie kaufmann, sin city, shawshank redemption, lotr trilogy, pans labyrinth, then there's alot of good stuff by kevin smith and quentin tarantino has a special style, and although it's not really a genre bascially every movie with johny depp is pretty damn good=)

Music: singer/songwriter, rock, punk, lounge, reggae, dub, roots, blues, hardcore, metal. It's basiclly a big mixed bag. To many good performers to list.

books: again too many to list but a definate favourite is "shantaram" by gregory david roberts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Both our first travels really opened our minds to a whole new world out there. It made us truly aware that the world is a small place and anything you want to see, do, create or experience is possible.

It may sound corny but it is amazing to feel that we are so privileged with such freedoms and opportunities in life.
