About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To go on my holiday at last!

ABOUT ME

Although it’s quite hard to write about yourself, I think I’m an optimistic, open-minded and sociable person. I love travelling and meeting new people, but unfortunately I don’t have much time to do that lately, as I began a full time job last year. I also like hanging out with my friends here in Warsaw. I’m known as a person who’s crazy about all kinds of games (board games, puns, charades, just everything!). I also like watching good film (especially European ones…). From time to time it’s also nice to go out for some party. Besides, I’m interested in learning new languages, reading books, swimming, riding a bike and sleeping:)

PHILOSOPHY

I haven’t found it yet but still looking for:)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting and surfing! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first CS experience in 2009. I went to La Rioja and the Basque Country in Spain with my friend and we lived in four different places: in Logroño where we met fantastic people and had a lot of fun, in Vitoria where we had an opportunity to participate in some traditional fiestas, in Hondarribia where we could finally relax at the seaside and in Bilbao where we took part in some crazy excursions and parties! I really recommend to all of you the CS-way to spend your holidays. In 2010 I also went to Spain and once more with CS:) This year I'm planning to go on a road trip in the Balkans and try more luck in CS!

Music, Movies, and Books

Ufff. This is a tough one. I think I’m not able to specify what I like most. I’ve seen so many movies that it would take me too much time to list the ones I liked. Ok, but I think that my favorite one is “Dzień Świra” (the English translation is “Day of the Wacko”) – a Polish film, unfortunately not very well-known abroad. As far as music is concerned I have a soft spot for The Beatles;) And books... I’m a loyal fan of John Irving, but I also like some Polish or South-American authors…

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmm. I ate a Durian once;) (and will never do that again)
