About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am on a current mission to love! I am also currently traveling and studying away from home for 7 months so my other current mission is to make it back home on December 13th! My final mission is to meet people because that is one of my greatest passions!
ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is Maddy and I am 20 years old and from St. Paul, Minnesota in the U.S. I love to travel and meet new people. I currently attend the College of St. Benedict/St. Johns University. I am a Peace Studies and French double major. I am the oldest in my family and I have a younger sister and a younger brother. In my free time I love to dance, run, paint, ride my bike, read, cook... ummm anything and everything except watching TV.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am kind of new to CouchSurfing but so far I have hosted 2 people with my friend here in Sarajevo. I have had a wonderful experience so far! When I get back home to the U.S. I plan on listing my couch asap. I even told my family they should start listing it now!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Well so far, I have met two fabulous people from California in Sarajevo, and hosted two people from the U.K. for two nights. I have enjoyed both very much. It is so interesting that you can meet people from around the world and find so much in common.

The most amazing thing I have experienced was going bobsledding in Salt Lake City. It was just a small part of the track and I was just riding along but it was still fabulous.
Teach, Learn, Share
The greatest book I have ever read is Mutant Message Down Under. The way the people in the book live is a summary of the way I want to live my life.... I would highly recommend everyone read this book.
