关于我

CURRENT MISSION

I want to write a rhyme that will make biggie bob his head in his grave. Here's the catch: it has to change my life.

ABOUT ME

At the very moment that I'm writing this, I rate my life's excitement at about a C or maybe a C+. I'm living in Davis, CA (the city in which I graduated from college 2 years ago) and am waiting tables to make a living. Nothing special. However, enough of the depressing stuff. Starting three weeks from now, I will embark on a journey of lifetime. I will be traveling to five different countries throughout the middle east and Europe and then back to the US but to other side, where I will attempt to find a home. The best part: I honestly have no idea where or how I'm going to end up. You know the feeling you get when you know something crazy and/or amazing is going to happen, but you just don't know what? I'm starting to feel it full force and I'm ready to make it happen. I hope I don't seem too weird. I'm just really inspiredexcitedanxiousnervousready.
On another note, I can be anywhere from introverted to too extroverted, depending on how loose and comfortable I feel. This means that theres a small chance I might be a little shy at first, but be nice and I'll come out. I have tons of respect for people's living space and will always leave a place the same way it was when I got there, with maybe a six pack or a home cooked meal tucked neatly in the corner. At night, I'm willing to go out and have fun with you, but if it's your bed time, I respect that. I'm always open for new friends.

PHILOSOPHY

Still working on them. How about personal goals? I hope to become more open to other peoples personal philosophies so that I can use them to help guide me to create philosophies that I can be proud of. I'll admit, I'm a little too stubborn right now to really trust in my philosophies %100.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I honestly just signed up very recently because a friend said this was a great way to meet people and find a place to stay while traveling. However, since then I've seen many couchsurfers at my friends house and it seems awesome so I want to be more involved when I can. For now, I'm going to be leaving soon so I don't really have a home to share, but if anybody is in Davis over the next 2 weeks (until 6/18/09) or in Richmond the week after that, send me a message and maybe we'll meet up. Otherwise, for now I just plan to use this website as tool to help me meet or stay with people while I'm traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All I've done thus far is just hang out with couchsurfers staying at a friends house. They've always been great so I'm assuming most couchsurfers are some pretty cool people. I hope to have many more experiences in the near future.

兴趣

I'm a musician who loves to cook, get out of the house, socialize, hook people up, create one thing or another, and sit in cafes like all day doing nothing. I have many other interest but would rather share them with you, in person.

音乐、电影和书籍

Movies: Half-baked and Dave Chappelle's Block Party. Music: not to sound to cliche, but Notorious B.I.G. is the greatest rapper that ever lived. Books: I'm reading the Joy Luck Club right now, and I really like it.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Usually for me, I confuse the most amazing things I've done with the stupidest things I've done. Once I jumped off a fifty or sixty foot cliff into a lake. The only thing was that I had to clear about ten feet of rocks below to get to the water. My jump wasn't that strong and I barely cleared the rocks. I'm never doing that again. I've also seen ducklings leave their nest for the first time while I was hiking through Yosemite. That was beautiful.

教,学,和分享

People say that big cities are expensive but that's not always true (at least in the US). Find a China town if there's one in your city and look for the store that has the big bins of cooked take-out food in the window. They're in every China town that I've been in and usually sell food by the pound for dirt cheap. The other day, I got a box of fried rice and a box of chow mien for about three dollars total. You could survive of this and couchsurfing for like ten dollars a day. WARNING: The shape of your body will get a little rounder and you might lack some nutrients if you only eat chow mien and fried rice. However, your mental health will be amazing.
