ABOUT ME

Since I never found a box that fit me, this is a tough one ;-)
I am overly curious, a bit of a science-nerd, romantically inclined to the Renaissance idea of the Homo Universalis, Grad in Clinical Psychology, running my own business in Higher Education, sometimes write articles and blogs and work on the side as a web- and Social Media developer. I love seeing as much of the world as possible and I am the worst singer you will ever meet.

PHILOSOPHY

I go a very long way for anyone that is willing to look beyond their anxieties to see what is real. When you see what is real, you can improve it so it can be of use to everyone. The only way to truly learn is by accepting reality and mastering your skills in it.

Interests

Anything and everything. I'm a child at heart; I always want to know the how and why of things.
I'm especially fond of literature, exact sciences, history, geography, arts, ballet/dance, film, philosophy, music, politics, languages, photography, martial arts and extreme sports.

Music, Movies, and Books

too many to list here. Honestly, I'm a bookwurm, a nerd in every fiber of my body. My music collection is just as eclectic as my collection of books...
The only thing I can say something that's not generic is movies: detectives, science-related shows and movies, historical films and thriller/horror to top it off.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have ever seen, is this one:
Besakih Temple
(Mother Temple)
Over a thousand years old, Besakih Temple is known as the "Mother Temple of Bali" Perched on the slopes of Mount Agung, at a lofty 1,000 meters (3,000 feet) Besakih is the biggest and holiest of all the Balinese temples. Named after the Dragon God believed to inhabit the mountain, it's said to be the only temple where a Hindu of any caste can worship.

It made me realize western science can only go as far as the pure rational mind goes. It is not the whole picture, body and mind go hand in hand as well as emotion and reason go together. They are not contradictory.
