ABOUT ME

moved back home to akron 2 years ago. i live with my big brown labradoddle baylee and 2 black and white cats, dill and baby scout in a house in akron.(cool neighborhood)... i love hosting and meeting new and interesting people. i have had wonderful experiences hosting. i have a great guest room (double bed) i am happy to share. hopefully i'll be able to travel this year and utilize the system. come and visit! PLEASE respond promptly to me, i respond promptly to surfers. if your plans change, contact right away, i do put some effort into things when a guest is coming, so be respectful. thanks.

try every day to be kind and compassionate. staying in the moment is my thing... oh my, some days are better than others.

i am a practicing buddhist, kind of a tough path at times. i am a hospice nurse also have a license in massage therapy both of which i love. i'm a great cook and love having people visit. love to read, hike, see films ....ummm, that is enough for now i guess.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

jumped out of a plane 3 times, saw the dalai lama (literally took my breath away), listened to yoyo ma in concert (cried at the incredible beauty of it...really...what god must sound like), traveled through new zealand, birthed my 3 children at home in my own bed (so amazing).... created a new life after my "original" one turned upside down (still a work in progress folks). just feel lucky to be in this life, even with all the struggles that have popped up in front of me.

i can feed you, give you a bed to sleep in...and laugh a lot. life is amazing isn't it? i hope these experiences will enrich my life in a way that is probably hard to describe...at least i can't at this moment, but i believe people touch our lives in amazing ways if our hearts are open.
